This museum quality, highly detailed, expert level, Goto Predestination tall ship tall ship model is semi-assembled and ready for display (not a kit). Some light assembly is required you will need to attach the ship model to it's base stand and attach the bowsprit into it's position, instructions and materials are included (please see images, text instructions included too).
Goto Predestination (God's Predestination, literally The Providence of God).
This Goto Predestination Warship model was specially designed & built by the plank on bulkhead method (joining multiple small pieces of wood like Rosewood, Mahogany and Western Red Cedar together on the hull). The Warship model is built exactly to scale as the original Goto Predestinatsia was with many details. The task required skillful craftsmen hundreds of hours to accomplish.
The model measures 37.5" long from bow to stern. It's a beautiful highly detailed boat model that is sure to become a prized family heirloom.
The Goto Predestinatsia (God's Predestination) was launched in Russia on April 27, 1700. She was the first Russian ship of the line and was designed by Peter the 1st from plans that he had brought from England. It was the first ship built by the Russian goverment not by private entrepreneurs (who had been building ships of mediocre seaworthiness) and was the pride of the Russian navy. The Goto Predestinatsia was a 58 gun warship, she had 26-16 pounders, 24-8 pounders and 8-3 pounders. The ship was 120 feet long, had a beam of 64 feet and a crew of 253.
